Bali is a paradise full of beaches, mountains, waterfalls, rice terraces, and endless Buddhist temples. What else could one expect in heaven? I visited Bali from November 15, 2024, to November 18, 2024. Booked Bali tour package from TrekHops, which is my best decision.
General Tips to Consider
November is off season in Bali, so you may not find as many travellers rush.
Must-visit destinations include the Tegallalang Rice Terraces and Ubud Monkey Forest. You have never seen such beautiful places.
You may find crowds on the Kuta, Nusa Dua, and Seminyak beaches. Visit Pandawa or Jimbaran Beach for a peaceful beach experience.
Amazing cafes to spend time at Canggu and Seminyak
Kuta is costly, and the food you find is mostly Western
Ubud is also costly, particularly in terms of dining.
Nusa Penida worth 2 days and perfect for couples or adventure seekers.
It is recommended to carry necessary medicine with you, as food poisoning is very common in Bali.
Must take a good bargainer with you for shopping at Bali local markets.
Buy souvenirs, such as wooden carvings and silver jewellery, from popular shops like the Ubud Art Market or Oleh-Oleh shops.
Locals play chess in their leisure time.
Astonishing traditional houses still exist in Bali, and it is amazing to see them.
Day 1
I explored the following places on the first day of my trip to Bali.
Sea Circus Restaurant and Bar
A wonderful place for a fine dining experience. Amazing cocktails and vibrant ambience to enjoy drinks with breakfast
Bali Skutis Adventure
Thrilling ATV ride experience, along with taking lots of pictures. Got it at an affordable price of 700k because of off season.
Oops Restaurant and Bar
I went there for dinner and the experience was not that good.
Bali Green Sunset- Cafe, Bar and Ricefield
Loved to enjoy a meal in a beautiful natural setting. Nasi Goreng and fish a must try dishes here.
CP Lounge
Amazing place to sing and dance with live music. Live music is possible till 12, whereas DJ plays between 12 am and 3 am. Outstanding to hang out with friends in Ubud.
Ubud Palace Legong Dance Performance
Go there if you want to get bored in 15 minutes. I do not find the reason behind the performance, whose duration was one hour.
Day 2
Toya Devasya
Wonderful place to explore hot springs. Do not miss it as it is worth your time. Flies may annoy you. Give a try to appetizing Lamb Pizza.
Penglipuran Village
Must visit this village as you will fall in love with its cleanliness and calm atmosphere. I find the authentic Balinese culture over there. I came to know about a house that sells indo mie (egg included). So, must explore, if you have time.
Day 3
Old Man’s
Visit here if you love crowds, parties, and spending money.
Sand Bar
Enjoyed Rhythm and Blues music. Entry fees include the drinks.
Besakih Great Temple
Wonderful guided tour takes you to this exceptional Bali temple. It will be a lifetime experience for you.
AKASA Specialty Coffee
Sipped coffee in a wonderful ambience. Watching sunrise may or may not be possible in November. Coffee and hot chocolate were sense awakening, but did not like the food.
Italo Pizza Canggu
Pizza tasted was neither as bad nor as good.
Conclusion
According to what I experienced, Bali is a must visit place for all. You may not like some places, but they are also part of the experience. At some places you will find the utmost joy and peace, such as Penglipuran Village and Besakih Great Temple. At last, I will appreciate the efforts of TrekHops team who curated outstanding Bali travel package for me. They provided exponential support throughout the journey. So, really recommend them to all my friends and relatives.
